Moss, grime and sediment can build up on your roof over time. Once the moss takes hold it tends to creep under the tiles and they begin to lift. This in turn creates additional free space for more growth and allows rainwater to get in. After that it’s just a matter of time before the roof rafters start to decay. This can all be prevented with cleaning. It took about three hours to fully clean the roof of this 3 bed semi.
I didn’t realize just how much growth there was on my roof till Sam showed me the pictures. It was too high to see all of it. However, I’m glad I had it cleaned. It looks like a new roof now.
